Ingredients

Chicken Filling
  • 3 tbsps Astra Cooking Pack
  • 3 minced garlic cloves
  • 1 tsp mashed ginger
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 2 tbsps sweet soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp fish sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 100 ml water
  • 200 g shredded fried chicken
  • 2 piece red chilli (seeds removed)
  • 3 pieces coriander stalks
  • 1 tbsp fried onions
Assembly
  • 4 tbsps Astra Cooking Pack
  • 10 pieces of bread rolls
  • 3 pieces coriander stalks
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds (roasted on Teflon)

Instructions

  1. IN A SMALL BOWL, MIX OYSTER SAUCE, SWEET SOYA SAUCE, FISH SAUCE, HONEY, SUGAR AND SALT. SET ASIDE.
  2. IN A PAN OR WOK, MELT ASTRA COOKING PACK. ADD GARLIC AND GINGER THEN SAUTÉ UNTIL, LIGHTLY BROWNED AND AROMATIC.
  3. ADD IN THE OYSTER SAUCE MIXTURE INTO THE PAN OR WOK AND STIR UNTIL MIXTURE CARAMELIZES.
  4. STIR IN WATER THEN ADD THE SHREDDED CHICKEN, RED CHILI, CORIANDER STALKS AND FRIED ONIONS.
  5. SAUTÉ FOR ANOTHER MINUTE JUST UNTIL THE SHREDDED CHICKEN ABSORBS THE SAUCE. SET ASIDE.
  6. SPLIT THE BREAD ROLLS IN THE MIDDLE 3/4 OF THE WAY THEN PAN FRY BOTH SIDES OVER _LOW-MEDIUM HEAT IN A WOK OR PAN WITH MELTED ASTRA COOKING PACK.
  7. FILL THE PAN FRIED BREAD ROLLS WITH THE CHICKEN FILLING THEN TOP OFF WITH CORIANDER LEAVES AND A SPRINKLE OF SESAME SEEDS. ARRANGE THE CHICKEN BREAD ROLLS ON A PLATE THEN SERVE.
