Ingredients

  • 500 g kidney beans
  • 2 small onions
  • 2 tbsps Astra Cooking Pack
  • 2 tomatoes (diced)
  • 2 cloves of garlic (Chopped)
  • A piece of ginger
  • A piece of cinnamon stick
  • 2 - 3 cardamom seeds (chopped)
  • 4 - 6 pepper seeds
  • 2 tsps chilli powder
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 2 tsps coriander powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala powder
  • 2 cloves
  • water (as required)
  • salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Wash the Kidney Beans well and let is soak for 6 - 7 hours.
  2. Place a pan on heat, Add Astra Cooking Pack, chopped cardamom, pepper seeds, cinnamon and cloves.
  3. Decrease the heat and add onions, garlic, ginger and salt. Temper until the onions are slightly golden.
  4. Then add coriander powder, garam masala, chili and turmeric and cook.
  5. After that, add the diced tomatoes and water. Cook until the oil-ish nature appear. Then add Kidney Beans. (Add a little more water than it is required to boil the Kidney Beans)
  6. Cook until the curry is viscous and take it out of the heat.
