Ingredients

  • Lasia spinosa roots 250 g
  • tomatoes 200 g
  • coconut milk 3 cups
  • red onions 50 g
  • curry leaves
  • pandan leaves
  • turmeric powder 10 g
  • cooked curry powder 10 g
  • ground mustard 5 g
  • tamarind pulp 1 tsp
  • Astra Cooking Pack 40 g

Instructions

  1. Clean Lasia spinosa roots, cut lengthwise and mix with all the spices.
  2. Place a pan on heat, add Astra Cooking Pack and cook the mixture.
  3. Then add water and boil the mixture.
  4. When Lasia spinosa is half boiled, add cut tomatoes, tamarind and coconut milk.
  5. Cook while stirring from time to time until the milk is evaporated.
  6. Close the lid and cook under low heat for sometime.
