Ingredients

Ingredients
  • 1 cup of dhal
  • 1.5 cups of water
  • 1/2 tsp of tumeric
  • 1 tsp of salt
  • 3 tsp of Astra
  • 3 cloves of garlic thinly sliced
  • 1 green chilli chopped
  • 1/4 tsp of chilli powder
  • 2 dried chillies
  • 1/2 Red onion chopped

Instructions

Method
  1. Boil 1 Cup of Dhal with ½ Tsp. of Turmeric and 1 Tsp. of Salt in 1 1/2 Cups of Water using a pot or a pressure cooker.
  2. Heat 2 Tbsp. of Astra in a pan and fry 1 diced Green Chili, 1/2 sliced Big Onion. To this add 1 Cup of thinly shredded Spinach and temper.
  3. Add the previously prepared dhal to the pan and mix well.
  4. On a separate pan, heat 1 Tbsp. of Astra and fry the sliced Garlic. To this, add 1 Tsp. of Salt and mix.
  5. Add the fried garlic to the dhal with 1/2 Tsp. of Salt and mix well.
