Ingredients

Ingredients
  • 2 kilograms of chicken cut into squares
  • 100 grams of Astra
  • 50 grams of garlic chopped
  • 25 grams of ginger chopped
  • 20 grams of roughly crushed pepper
  • 400 grams of onions sliced
  • 200 grams of tomatoes cut into wedges
  • 100 grams of green capsicum diagonally sliced
  • 100 ml soy sauce
  • 100 ml tomato sauce
  • 30 grams of chilli pieces
  • oil for frying
  • salted to taste

Instructions

Preparation
  1. Marinade the chicken for one hour or more, with chicken seasoning powder, pepper and half of the measured soy sauce.
  2. After waiting for a sufficient amount of time, deep fry the chicken until golden brown and well done. Set it aside and let it rest.
Method
  1. Drop a cube of Astra Spread in a pan and fry your ginger and garlic. Then add chili flakes under a low fire till a fragrance is observed.
  2. Add onions and capsicum (bell peppers) into the pot. Sauté further until they’re cooked.
  3. Add the remaining ingredients; tomato sauce, soy sauce and mix well.
  4. Drop in the fried chicken and toss it until well coated.
  5. Finally toss with tomato wedges and adjust seasoning according to your preference.
  6. Served with steam rice and devour your chicken!
