Ingredients

  • 500 grams potatoes
  • 200 grams Bombay onions
  • 6 cloves
  • 1.25 grams Tumeric powder
  • 30 grams chilli powder
  • 30 grams Maldives fish flakes
  • 45 grams Astra
  • 1 tomato cut into large chunks
  • 25 grams Rampe (Pandan)
  • Curry leaves picked
  • salt pepper to taste

Instructions

Preparation
  1. Cut the potatoes into large, convenient pieces and boil them in a pot with a little salt and turmeric powder.
  2. Once boiled, set it aside and let it cool.
Methood
  1. Add Astra onto a pan and let it melt. When it is hot enough, add curry leaves, rampe (pandan leaves), garlic and onions. Cook until golden brown.
  2. Add the boiled potatoes, Maldives fish turmeric powders, chilli powder and tomatoes. Keep tossing for few minutes until the potato is coated and done.
  3. Add seasoning according to your preference.
