Ingredients

  • 3 cups roasted semolina
  • 3 1/2 cups water
  • A small amount of chopped onions
  • curry leaves (as required)
  • diced / thinly sliced carrots (as required)
  • spring onions (as required)
  • 5 g mustard seed
  • 2 tbsps Astra Acti✓
  • A small amount of chilli powder
  • Some dried chili flakes
  • 3 tsps chopped garlic
  • green peas (as required)
  • cashew (as required)
  • salt
  • pepper

Instructions

  1. Place a pan on heat and add Astra Acti✓. Once the pan is heated, add mustard seeds and garlic and let them fry.
  2. Add chopped onions and curry leaves and temper well. Then add cut carrots, salt, chili powder and mix well. Then add water and let it cook.
  3. When the water is boiling, add roasted semolina little by little while stirring, to make sure no lumps are created.
  4. Add chopped spring onions, green peas and cashew. Mix thoroughly until the semolina breaks in to small pieces. Take out of the heat.
